His photo was posted together with the kids who “jumped” into the river, even though he was not with them. ● The report was about what happened in Brgy. Gaya-Gaya, but my former classmate is from Brgy. Sto. Cristo. He was actually trying to save someone else from the river, and he ended up being swept away himself. ● I've read so many comments from netizens saying that they should no longer be searched for or that they “deserve it” because they were being stubborn. Please remember that you don't know the full story. He was trying to save another person, and now his family and friends are worried because he's the one who is missing. ● Please stop spreading false information and show some respect. This is not something to laugh about. His story should not be misrepresented, especially when he was trying to help someone else.
