Two questions… Trying to make my 4th graders more accountable for independent reading! 1. Do you give them a certain amount of time/goal to finish a book by? 2. Do you assign any type of assignment with the reading other then the report at the end? I need some ideas that motivate students to read each day but also something practical that I can check easily.
