Everybody’s talking about Flock while totally ignoring Axon. Flock cameras are stand alone, on a black pole. At least they’re visible. Axon has rolled out a plan to put their cameras on Every. Single. Street. Light. 20ft off the ground. On top of the lights used to illuminate streets at night. And they’re partnering with software tech firm Ubicquia to store all that data and give it to whomever asks, I guess. I read that they arrested someone returning from a state with recreational sale into a non recreational state. They used flock to track him going and returning for months before they nabbed him.
