Women in general are very much invested in this case because we experience gaslighting, being ignored medically, suffer from dv at an astronomical amount, and are expected to everything when it come to raising humans entirely on our own. This is entirely in our wheelhouse of empathy and attention to details. We are all deeply invested because we've been there. We see this painful and disturbing situation and we want answers. Also, as a side note, after seeing what happened to Karen Reed in Massachusetts, we know that state in particular is absolutely awful at actually investigating anything.

I have heard about the case but yesterday caught the live. So last night I sat abd watched TikTok videos for an hour which equals about 290 videos and researched things like “it’s the same police force as the Karen Reid trial” and “how fast can a live body with extensive spine injuries take to cool to 82 degrees.” I thinking about getting a whiteboard and some colored markers.

What I like about this app is that there are people in medicine, forensics, law, etc weighing on these national cases & we are all now seeing how deep the swamp is. So many cases were swept under the rug for SO long, but now…not so much.
