@mom.ma.gi: Instead of only telling them things like: * 'Don't play with them. * 'They're not a true friend.' * 'You're just being used.' ...teach your kids how to spot friendship red flags for themselves. Noticing repeated patterns, behaviors that keep happening over and over, that can quietly affect your child's confidence and emotional safety. Helping kids learn this builds the truth, not fear. This teaches them: -What safe, healthy friendships look like -How to trust their feelings when something feels "off" -That they can set boundaries without being unkind Because we can't choose friends for our kids. But we can give them tools to notice what feels right, and what doesn't. 🌱Proverbs 13:20 – "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." 🌱1 Corinthians 15:33 – "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" *This post isn't about kids who communicate or connect in different ways.* 💫 Share if you find this helpful. #Parenting #ChristianParenting #ChristianMom #Christian #GentleParenting
