“We’re not doing chores” personally sounds terrible. Would rather clean with my wife and relax in a clean house while the kids are asleep then just relax in a dirty one.

wife and I do Walmart dates. jus us walking around window shopping. then we stop for ice cream, eat in the car and head home. this year made 16 years we've been together.

We both work full time and some days my husband works more than normal so we started doing patio dates. Every Friday after dinner we sit on the deck, get some drinks and snacks, play music and just hang out and chat. The kids sometimes join us or are just inside watching a movie. I look forward to it every week! 🥰

we have the toy doorables in a bag and once a month we pick out 1 and when the kids go down we make food from the movie and watch the movie of the doorable we picked

whaaatt couples do this, my perfect day is with my wife and my son, even when my 3 year old is being super grumpy or my partner is over stimulated by his grumpiness I still have the best time
