A scary situation turned into a heartwarming moment after officers helped reunite a missing toddler with his father. Police were called after a young child was found walking near the road. A teenager reportedly spotted the little boy and helped alert authorities. Officers quickly began checking nearby homes to find the child's parents. When they knocked on one door and asked if anyone was missing a little boy, the father suddenly realized what had happened. He explained that he had been sleeping and didn't know his son had managed to get out of the house. The child, identified as Mateo, was safe and with another officer nearby. When they were reunited, Mateo appeared happy and unharmed. Officers advised the father to add extra childproof locks on the doors to prevent the toddler from getting outside again.
