@garden.loom: Designer Self-Watering Planter From Scratch #3 🌿💧 Follow for more creative plant projects. 💚 Made with a tall glass vase, a large pickle jar, cork lid, cotton wick and an airy moss mix. 🌱 Moss mix: 80% long-fiber sphagnum moss 10% fine orchid bark 10% perlite The inner glass vase holds the plant while the jar below becomes the water reservoir. A cotton wick carries moisture upward while an air gap helps keep the root zone oxygenated. 💡 When drilling the glass, secure it firmly, use masking tape to mark the center, work slowly with a suitable glass bit and keep the drilling point properly lubricated/cooled. 💧 Refresh the reservoir water regularly. 💬 What plant would you like to see in the next video?
