Agreed, she tolerated A LOT more than she would have if he wasn’t boasting about being Danish royalty and being wealthy. Plus she also wanted the aesthetically pleasing vacation pics for social media. Also why she was ok spending all the money on trips and letting him borrow money-she thought she was going to get a return on her investment.

I think most people are missing the point. He didnt just play her, he played her family and her friends too… the fact that some people are naturally gifted with charisma and use that gift for manipulation is often overlooked and its the victim we end up blaming.

I think also you’ve got to remember the Monaco trip like she’d had a taste of that money he supposedly had and she’d met like all these people from his work and all this stuff so at that point she was like we can get back to that. I think if it had just been empty promises the whole time she might have woken up sooner but I think that trip was what allowed her to keep living in lala land whole time he probably paid for that trip from his last victim
