when i was su*cidal i gained a new appreciation for the world because i was faced with leaving it. i remember walking to the bus stop on the way to school just crying at how pretty the sky was. how could i want to leave a world that was inherently beautiful in so many ways.

being su*cidal made me appreciate the smallest things in life. my only motivation to go to school was the view of the sky when I pass this bridge on the way to school. Seeing more of the painted sky was the only thing holding me back. and to be honest, I was more laid back and I felt free because I know that no matter what happened, I always had the option to leave. I'm not as su*cidal anymore, which is good, but now, I feel so trapped.

"It's not 'natural' to speak well, eloquently, in an interesting articulate way. People living in groups, families, communes say little-have few verbal means. Eloquence-thinking in words-is a byproduct of solitude, deracination, a heightened painful individuality."
- Susan Sontag, As Consciousness Is Harnessed to Flesh.

We truly are walking contradictions. The agony of living is why I am able to beautifully articulate the pain that comes from being alive. experience and suffering give us substance. No words are wasted and neither are they easily spoken.

order and disorder. those who have greater sense of the order, the beauty, the synchronisation, the symphony, can't bear to see it ruined. perfectionism. often do we call things good or bad, regular and irregular. there is something beyond that. the world is made spectrums and gradients. gradients of perfectionism and poetry overlap. language has angles. countless and unfathomable. limited in what they reveal about the construction lines of the universe. idk.

id been struggling a lot mentally recently and last night I went to my driveway to see if i could catch the meteor shower just 1 minute before it was supposed to start and I got to see a shooting star. I barely got the chance to “make a wish” cause it took a second to realize what I had just seen but It was breathtaking I remember it so clearly i dont think ill ever forget it. That moment alone grounded me a little I am so lucky to have gotten to experience that and life itself it made me want to live it better and appreciate it for everything it is and everything it can be

Been telling this all my life. I am in love with life. I love it. It’s just this unbearable dark voice in my head who tells me all those su*cidal things which I have to distract myself from. And I don’t understand it. It’s a different person within me.

I think it’s because they always think of EVERYTHING. Not in a like prepared way, but in a deep emotional manner, due to them being sad and feeling that sadness all the time. And most people struggle with putting how they feel into words, making them always try and find words or sentence structures to fit how they feel. Also being stuck in such a feeling of prolonged sadness, where they really get to thinking about the end, making them appreciate everything, and every little moment, then being able to describe it as such a precious thing to them

I was the best in poetry in my class when we first learned it, my teachers were impressed of my work but I never saw the appeal, yes it’s deep and beautiful but I hated writing, I made grammar mistakes all the time.

Poetic yearning towards anything —such as life or the person you love, adds a touch of elegance to an otherwise cruel fate.
