I got it from strawberries I ate right before getting on a flight for a work trip, where the only excuse for missing work is death or hospitalization. I wish I was kidding 😳 My assigned driver-who I’d never met before-was held hostage for almost 2 hours at a Panera Bread where there was a single toilet, and I’m almost 💯 sure the the workers were plotting my ☠️, but who could blame them. Eventually I told my driver he had exactly 7 minutes-based on historical data-to get me to the CVS 1 mile away so I could mainline Immodium. He had a panicked look on his face that I can only assume was concern for his upholstery. Did I take 8 at once? Sure did. Did I take 2 more every hour from then on for a week? Yes. And that poor man had to drive me all over until I left knowing he had a ticking time 💣 in his car 😬

I teach food safety. clearly there's no training, control, traceability. also, if the lettuce is washed correctly it will be fine.
