@modernnotoriety: Originally built in Santa Monica in 1958, The Flying Bulls’ Douglas DC-6B is a four-engine piston-powered airliner that was commissioned as a luxury aircraft for Josip Broz Tito, the former president of Yugoslavia, before later serving Zambia’s president Kenneth Kaunda.  After being abandoned in Africa, the aircraft was acquired by The Flying Bulls in 2000 and flown to Austria, where it underwent thousands of hours of restoration. It spent the following decades in Europe before returning to American soil this year for the first time since leaving the Douglas factory 68 years ago.  We got the unique opportunity to fly around Chicago aboard this historic aircraft to celebrate the launch of McDonald’s new Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer, available at participating restaurants nationwide starting August 17 @McDonald’s @Red Bull USA #aviation #airplane #mcdonalds #redbull #theflyingbulls
