I agree with your video. But the historical, lesbian specific term is FEM, not FEMME. Fem came from working class lesbians, mostly from the 1940s and 1950s, femme was introduced later with 1990s feminism, queer theory and political lesbians (straight women that decided to date other women as a form of protest), it comes from femme being the French word for woman. You can read more about it in “The Persistent Desire”, by Joan Nestle, it’s a collection of lesbian testimonies ranging over a century
