i have been in Vietnam tour in 2018. i have visited Hochiman Virt war momrial museum.
alot of the school text in Vietnam has been changed in recent years in favour of the US government.
not many Vietnamese 40 years old know alot about the war in Vietnam.
Vietnamese friends in Australia getting their full history from Google in Australia. while that information not in access in Vietnam. it has been fully restricted.

FWIW i had a friend who was a tunnel rat during the Vietnam conflict. He would go into these tunnels with a knife in his mouth and pursue the vietcong. Obviously, he was a very small man with nerves of steel.
