My truck was doing this same thing after working on my lift pump I didn’t disconnect the battery and touched the wrench to the frame and it sparked and I checked all my fuses, an it was my alternator relay fuse

algie growth, check your pressure relief valve on the vp44. it might be stuck open from bad fuel causing a "hungry pump" that would cause some weird running symptoms

Just found out that the factory diff vent location was the spare tire cross member! When these second gen’s come around they’re already wrong before ya get em!
