DIY Hopping Bunny Cup Toy | Easy Paper Cup Craft for Kids.
Materials Used
● 2 paper cups (pink and blue)
● Colored craft paper (pink, blue, white, black)
● White cardstock or paper
● Black marker
● Pink marker
● Glue
● Scissors
● Small rubber band
● Wooden craft stick or popsicle stick
● Hole punch or pointed tool (used to make holes)
Making Process
1. Place two paper cups upside down on the work surface.
2. Wrap one cup with pink paper.
3. Wrap the second cup with blue paper.
4. Glue the paper tightly around both cups.
5. Trim the excess paper around the rim.
6. Cut two long bunny ears from matching colored paper.
7. Cut smaller white inner-ear pieces.
8. Glue the white pieces onto the colored ears.
9. Attach the ears to the inside edge of the pink cup.
10. Repeat the same process for the blue cup.
11. Cut two white circles for the bunny faces.
12. Glue one white circle onto each cup.
13. Glue two black eyes onto each face.
14. Add two small pink cheeks.
15. Draw a tiny bunny nose with a marker.
16. Draw the bunny mouth beneath the nose.
17. Add small whiskers on both sides of the face.
18. Glue two small front paws below each face.
19. Attach two small feet near the bottom front of each bunny.
20. Turn one cup upside down.
21. Make two small holes near the bottom center of the cup.
22. Thread a rubber band through the holes.
23. Pull both ends of the rubber band through the cup.
24. Insert a small wooden craft stick through the rubber band loop.
25. Twist the craft stick several times to tighten the rubber band.
26. Place the second cup over the first cup as shown.
27. Align both cups carefully. 28. Press the bunny downward to load the rubber band.
29. Release the pressure slowly.
30. Demonstrate the bunny hopping upward.
31. Repeat the hopping action several times.
32. Display both finished pink and blue bunny toys together.
