I'm glad you and your friends were able to finish it together. For me, my first run resulted in failure due to a severe lack of food and blizzards that came every 30 seconds to a minute 30 seconds. My second run resulted in all the amulets being collected and making it to the top of the citadel without a single scout lost only for my game to crash so hard that it took my computer 40 minutes to fully return to normal through 2-3 manual shut offs. Thankfully my friends were able to finish it and rescue Scout Master Myers (though my continue run option returns me to the start of the citadel so I'm never touching the game again).
