He’s mostly right, it’s just common sense. We get employer input to our pensions so I wouldn’t stop investing in pensions.

He actually has an app called Everydollar that doesn’t work on uk AppStore but the desk top version does and even though I have to use the $ instead of £ I really rate it for budgeting!

I agree with most of it I would always pay into my workplace pension tho personally. But I think paying off your mortgage early can be good but it depends if you have other goals with that chunk of cash you’d used to pay it off

Did he not used to ramble on about renting > mortgage? That was maybe the case many moons ago so I could be talking 💩. It would seem illogical these days (IMO) since I can pay less per month having a mortgage & gain an appreciating asset. Only issue is when it breaks its on me not a landlord.
