If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves is definitely worth adding to your itinerary 🤍⛰️✨ The colourful rainbow steps, the huge golden statue and the caves themselves are so beautiful in person. It’s one of KL’s most iconic spots, and honestly… you can’t come to Malaysia and not visit. 🥹🇲🇾 There are photographers waiting at the entrance who’ll take your photos and drone videos. 😂 If you’re a little extra like me, it’s actually quite fun to do. I’d say the photos weren’t really giving as they were taken on iPhone… but the drone video? That was kinda worth it. 🤭🎥 You’ll also see plenty of monkeys around the steps 🐒 You can buy bananas at the entrance if you want to feed them, but be careful because they’re definitely not shy and will happily steal your snacks if you’re not paying attention. 😭 ✨ My tip: Go early in the morning before it gets too hot and busy, wear something modest as it’s a religious site, and keep your belongings close around the monkeys. 📍Address: Batu Caves, Gombak, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia 🕒 Opening hours: Daily, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM 💰 Entry: The main temple cave is FREE to visit.
