Yup. Women know that if they make eye contact that most men will take that as a sign that they’re interested, even if they aren’t in any way and are just being polite. So they just won’t, in order to avoid confrontation and possible harassment and feel safer.

It’s not about peeing anybody anything….This whole viewpoint is one sided but men are also tired of being made out to be creeps and villains and that’s pretty much all this clip was about. He’s valid there. Yah I’m sure she was coming from somewhere in her reaction but the fact that a man always has to prove himself that he’s not a threat is not fun.

I get your point and, in general, I agree with it. No woman owes a man a smile, eye contact, or any other kind of attention/acknowledgment. That said, I think it’s hard to generalize too. I see videos of women complaining because men won’t approach them and “shoot their shot” which puts them in the awkward position of either walking away or making the first move. I do think it’s about context though.
