@thepotterystudio: Things I learnt the hard way in pottery Pottery, like any craft, takes time. One of our teachers, Katie, once said to me that the P in pottery stands for patience, and she is so right. You need practice under your belt, but you also need to slow down and have patience with yourself while you're learning. I've also learnt that back-to-back classes aren't always your best friend. A big part of learning a craft is sitting down and making by yourself, even if you're still in the studio with a community around you. You can ask for help when you need it, but learning to become your own teacher and support person is just as important 💛
