Life’s not perfect, but that doesn’t mean it has to be bad all the time, or good all the time either. Your life is meant to be lived, not just finished, it’s not some milestone to check off. We have gotten so used to the idea of optimising every part of our lives, that we are rapidly forgetting the most important part - just being here. I know it sounds corny, I know it feels like we should roll our eyes at hope when the world feels hell-bent on doling out bad days. But it’s an important lesson, I think, that needs to be reiterated and if for no one else, then just for me. I have spent so much of my life thinking that the next milestone will solve all my problems, but when I get there I don’t allow myself any time to just relish. Maybe it’s from the chaos of my upbringing, maybe it’s because I see myself as an over achiever, or maybe it’s because I’m self destructive when things are going good, whatever the case I need this reminder. I tried something new today, doing some voice over work on Mr Skelly. I know some may not like it, but I wanted to give it a go! Also the font is hand drawn by our studio and it’s called “compass”! So as always, every single part of this work was hand done down to the type face :) Thank yall and hope you enjoy. #mrskelly #animation #motivation #perfect #life
