I don’t think she the ruler of space, Renova refers to her as a “Thing” and “It” you don’t refer to someone you know well in that way. Paimon has no power or authority, it’s almost as if paimon is lower life in celestial made to serve.

i mean, paimon is the mascot of genshin since day 1. she cant be powerless and useless for nothing, there is a REASON behind all that. she also stopped us from exploring areas that are not yet developed (or not yet revealed to us), and it feels like inside the game, she is guiding us to a path that was designed to us by fate? like every move was calculated and is leading us to meeting up with characters that revealed lore to us piece by piece as if it was coincidence. paimon is the reason why we are here, if not, i will never explore dragonspine.

All things considered, I believe the questline following this one will be a mix of trying to go after Celestia, and constantly having to keep Paimon safe from them. I believe both of them will be priorities even of the Fatui, given that multiple harbingers and Pierro wish for her to stay safe
