the last total solar eclipse was 1999, the one in 2015 was a partial solar eclipse, same as the one today, but we won’t see another total solar eclipse until 2090

YES I REMEMBER THIS AND I GOOGLED IT AND APPARENTLY IT DIDNT HAPPEN BUT I SWEAR IT DID AND WE ALL GOT THOSE GLASSES IN SCHOOL AND WENT OUTSIDE TO LOOK BC IT WENT ALL DARK!!!

i think the last total solar eclipse was in '99. The last solar eclipse that was anywhere near significant in the uk was Sept 2015 where it was over 80% for the whole of the uk.
