Bro, if they didn’t laugh, they would cry give them back their jobs. That’s fucking ridiculous.

I think what people fail to understand is that there’s nothing normal about working 24 seven with dead bodies… or seeing half the gruesome shit that these guys see… sometimes they need a little levity just to keep surviving and get through it themselves and if you haven’t been there, you can’t really speak on it

This is a coping mechanism. Nothing unethical. The body has to be moved and new cops are usually the one that help the medical examiner on scene. Relax people

Firefighters and Cops all operate with dark humor as an important coping mechanism. Leave these guys alone.

Why does it take 5 or 6 police officers to complete this task?

They got fired for making the rookie pop the blisters an all that on corpse. It was nun about the cops making him move the corpse or touch the corpse or laughing about it it’s because they treated the corpse horribly.

Tnight_In_Ruins :
The issue isn’t the “dark humor” or “laughing” is that they’re actively destroying/playing with the body by popping the blisters.

No one fired. https://kutv.com/news/local/salt-lake-officers-disciplined-for-unprofessional-behavior-during-death-investigation I knew it wouldnt be firing, just some discipline to cover because of exposure.

It's not them laughing, in the other half of the video you see they get the rookie cop to pop gas blisters with a box blade.

Office workers and gas station workers have no clue what officers have to do to cope with what they see. Military and law enforcement have to have dark humor to survive.

thats literally how they cope with disturbing scenes by making little dark humor jokes about it ,it feels nice to have a little giggle while seeing something shocking or disturbing it literally makes the environment feel less tense around them. guys from the army would also laugh knowing they alomst died

Popping blisters on a dead man/women is just some psychopathic shit in all these officers need to be fired. There’s nothing funny about that and if you think there’s something funny about that you genuinely need to be looked at. that is nothing but psychopath activity
