My view and sentiments are like most of the people here before I entered law school. Like bakit ba tatanggapin ang mga kaso na Alam mo na guilty na Yung tao, tulad nalang pag nakapatay ang isang tao, bat mo pa ba sya ipag tatanggol, and dati tingin ko din sa lawyer profession ay pera pera nga Lang, kahit guilty na irere present pa. But since I entered law school, na intindihan ko na...kasi Isa sa unang tinuturo satin ay, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty, at applicable ito sa lahat ng Pilipino, Kaya andito ang mga abogado, ay para protektahan ang constitutional rights ng respondent at ng complainant. Lawyers may know the real truth behind every case, but still due process should prevail. Kaya kahit guilty ang isang tao ay need parin nya ng abogado, at need nya pa din ng due process. At Kung wala naman pong abogado ang tumanggap ng kaso, ang korte ang mag aassign ng abogado sa kanila ang tinatawag na counsel de officio. Dahil Isa nga po ito sa constitutional rights Natin. Kaya naman naiintindihan ko ang side ng isang mamayang Pilipino at ang side ng mga abogado both prosecution and defense. Sabi nga Nila, you will not understand a person until you are in his or her shoe.

not impeachment-specific, but where do lawyers draw the line atty on clients na alam nyong guilty? i have an atty friend who said exiciting for her yung murder cases kasi challenging ipa abswelto yung suspect and ive always been scared to clarify this qusstion with her. if the client is guilty and she successfully defended him, then kudos to her professionaly. but at the same time, she becomes an instrument to injustice, is she not?

Correct if I'm wrong, since there are times that lawyers use a certain type of technique to make a misleading questions that looks legal na di nahahalata agad kaya minsan may witness na nadudulas diba, due to certain ways kung pano din yung way ng pag tatanong.
