insane place to put it. I know they are going to put a park where the dump is but it is such a bad location and shows the Minister is panicking. His remit is build anywhere. And no joined up thinking here.

Isn't that where the dump was? That could potentially be a future health risk. God's knows what's been buried there.

Frenk :
The issue there is no transport infrastructure that will be built on time to add 50k people to a small road network with traffic level already high . Unless that is sorted objections are totally valid

all the building in the whole Dublin 11 area and not 1 new school for all the families going into these places. traffic already mental up that way n all the high rise ballymun towers are going over the finglas side and none in castleknock side. very interesting.

Interesting that the most vociferous and effective objections to development is in the most affluent areas of Dublin….D4 and Killiney/Dalkey. The very areas also served by the DART.

if they were to build 80.000 houses, the prices they are asking are beyond what people can afford, they cant get on the social housing list and cant afford to buy so who is getting these houses, Do you work more jobs to afford the mortgage risking your health & children ? or Do you work less and qualify for social housing, the allocation of social housing needs to be addressed
