@jawapos.tv: Viral isu rumah kontrakan bakal kena pajak baru. #Purbaya #Menkeu #Pajak #RumahKontrakan #PajakProperti #JawaposTV #BeritaHariIni #FYP

⚠️ NOT POLITICAL ⚠️ | The 2014 War in the Donbas was the first major phase of the broader Russo-Ukrainian War and began in the aftermath of Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity (Euromaidan), which led to the removal of President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014. Shortly afterward, Russia annexed Crimea, while unrest spread through eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions collectively known as the Donbas. Initially, pro-Russian demonstrations took place in several cities, but in April 2014 armed groups seized government buildings and declared the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). Ukraine responded by launching what it called the “Anti-Terrorist Operation” (ATO) to restore control over the region. Throughout the spring and summer of 2014, Ukrainian forces regained significant territory and came close to surrounding the separatist-held cities of Donetsk and Luhansk. However, by August the conflict escalated as Russia was widely reported by Ukraine, Western governments, and many independent analysts to have increased its direct military involvement through personnel, heavy weapons, and logistical support for the separatists, allowing them to halt the Ukrainian advance and push government forces back in key battles such as Ilovaisk. Fighting caused thousands of military and civilian casualties, displaced hundreds of thousands of people, and devastated infrastructure across the region. In September 2014, Ukraine, Russia, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and representatives of the separatists signed the Minsk Protocol, commonly known as Minsk I, which called for a ceasefire and a political roadmap to reduce the fighting. Although the agreement temporarily lowered the intensity of combat in some areas, it was repeatedly violated and failed to produce a lasting settlement. The conflict remained largely frozen but active over the following years, with periodic battles, shelling, and casualties continuing until it expanded dramatically with Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The origins and nature of the conflict remain politically contested, but the broad consensus among most international organizations and Western governments is that while local grievances existed in eastern Ukraine, the armed separatist movement was sustained and significantly strengthened through Russian military, financial, and political support. | #fyp #edit #war #2014 #russia
