Why would ripple use XRP when they already have a platform? Currently, it's hopes that they'll take XRP off the shelf and start using it. There's no signs that even point to them using it. They are not sending anything through XRP. Everything goes through ripple. IF A BRAND NEW BANKING SYSTEM STARTED, IT WOULD GO THROUGH RIPPLE.
