Besides the well-known tape trick @Linthi's World , there’s another pretty clever solution: Simply take advantage of the poor adhesion between PETG and PLA. By printing one or two layers of the other material right at the interface between the model and the support structure, the supports can be removed surprisingly easily after printing.
