@cottageandblossom: I’ve always loved collecting rocks. There’s something endlessly fascinating and beautiful about the little treasures you find along the shore🤎 Every summer, we collect sandstone rocks from our PEI beaches and turn them into a little creative project with my grandchildren. This year, I painted the faces of the rocks white first, giving them a blank canvas to sketch their ideas with pencils before bringing them to life with paint. They were completely engrossed in the process, and I was so charmed by the little scenes they created! Each rock became its own tiny work of art 🎨✨ I had visions of taking them back to the beach and leaving them tucked among the rocks as little seaside art installations ~ but the artists were not at all on board with that idea! 😅 Perhaps next summer 🤎 / | / #seasideliving #coastalcottage #rockart #craftsforkids #diykidscrafts
