September 11 will always be a day of remembrance—a day to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger to help others. But today, I’m also remembering what happened in the days that followed. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers prayed together. People hugged their families a little tighter and made time for what truly mattered. For a while, so many of the things that divided us became less important. We were Americans—and we stood together as one nation under God. I believe we can find that spirit again. We may not agree on politics, leadership, race, religion, or how every problem should be solved. But disagreement does not have to become hatred. We don’t have to assume the worst about someone simply because they see the world differently. Perhaps the greatest divide in our country isn’t political—it’s within the human heart. What if we listened before becoming defensive? What if we showed grace before passing judgment? What if we treated others the way we want to be treated? “Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Mark 12:31 Today, I’m thankful for God’s protection from the dangers we see and those we never know were near. I’m praying for the families who still carry the loss of September 11—and for our country to remember that compassion, kindness, faith, and unity are still possible. May we never forget. And may we never stop trying to become one nation under God again. 🇺🇸🙏 #NeverForget #September11 #Unity #Faith #America
