For there to have been a dead man’s switch he’d of had to of been holding something . The point of a DMS is so the aggressor can’t be incapacitated in any way whether that be through shooting him or using physical force like this . If a DMS is in play the aggressor would’ve been holding something so any person thinking of trying to stop him is aware that if he lets go of the object he is holding , the bomb will detonate . And despite that no sane person would knock someone out with an explosive vest on cause if you think about it logically , just like this man did they’d fall back . Anyone who has common sense could think , maybe bombs aren’t the most impact resistant devices .
