The T-80U Russian Main Battle tank is a Soviet tank created during the Cold War era. It features a 125mm 2A46M-1 cannon fitted with 28-round carousel auto loader for quick reloads. It uses the 3BM42 and 3BM46 APFSDS round and 9M119 ATGM for tank-to-tank combat and the 3OF26 high-explosive round for destroying buildings, taking out light infantry vehicles, and clearing out trenches.The T-80U uses a GTD-1250 gas turbine engine allowing it to go up to 70km/h or above but it has no reverse gear making it insanely slow in reverse (4km/h). The commander operates a 12.7mm NSVT machine gun while the gunner uses a smaller 7.62mm PKT machine gun. Due to its low-profile turret, it has absolutely NO gun depression making it useless on the high ground but it doesnโt matter because western Russia sits on the European Plains. It uses an angled frontal hull armour with rolled homogenous armour and textolite in the interior and CONTACT-5 ERA on the exterior. While the frontal turret armour is fitted with a quartz core on the interior and CONTACT-5 ERA on the exterior again.
