My daughter worked at Charlotte, and Buckle back in the day. There were always broken pipes that would flood the stores. No wonder the stores left. Obviously Covid didn’t help and online shopping was definitely a factor, but mismanagement of this property is a huge factor. I loved going there in the 80’s and 90’s but now it has nothing to offer. So sad.

Make it into a HUGE shelter....the big empty stores can be for mentally ill patients....mentally ill just go to the streets now. The stores all could become shelter rooms so there are LOTS of beds. Mainly for Moms with kids who went homeless. Have some stores be craft areas. Maybe a hair salon. Have home less work to sleep there or to pay for things their children broke!! 1 room could be a library. 1 room could be a daycare so Mom can get jobs. The mall is already on a bus system. No drugs/no smoking and if caught your kicked to the outside till next day. Have upstairs still be the place to eat at. **Drug addicts STILL have to go to regular hospitals. Flint really needs this!!
