one of my fav things in cyberpunk is that after you complete some certain misdions there's a chance a gang of enemies attempt to jump you (militech,arasaka,gangs) and when you kill them they're info shard says why they're after you

This is actually only for the Yaiba x Kirishima bike specifically. There’s a note you can read about this being the FUTURE of advertisement and that where other people will see “the same boring ads” Kirishima users will see ads that talk directly to them and will be stuff you will “actually” like.

I remember years ago, IBM showed off a concept shopping mall with loads of screens and facial recognition cameras, so this exact thing would occur. Like, it could use data on you (like your relatives birthdays, publicly available data from Facebook) to target ads like “hey its your mom’s birthday next week Y/N, get her a nice necklace” as you pass the jewelry store… needless to say, not well received
