The ending of 2 Valid IDs was fucking heartbreaking. Like, imagine finally getting the money you desperately need for someone’s operation. Imagine fighting through all the fucking requirements, going back and forth, and trying to comply with those 2 valid IDs just to claim the money sent to you. Only to find out na yung mismong dahilan kung bakit ka lumalaban, wala na pala. Fuck. That hurts in ways words can’t even explain. 💔 And it makes you wonder, hanggang kailan kailangang maghirap at magtiis ng mga ordinaryong Pilipino para lang makuha ang mga bagay na dapat sana ay hindi na pinapahirap sa kanila? How can a system that is supposed to serve its people end up adding more pain to those who are already struggling? Paano kung yung bawat minutong nasasayang sa red tape, requirements, at paulit-ulit na proseso ay minutong hindi na maibabalik sa taong naghihintay ng tulong? Maybe this is the reality that some people in government fail to see. Hindi lahat ng Pilipino may oras, pera, at kakayahang maglakad ng napakaraming requirements. Some are literally holding on to the little hope they have left, desperately trying to save someone they love. And that’s what makes this story so painful. Hindi lang ito tungkol sa dalawang valid IDs. It’s about a system that can make people feel powerless at the very moment they need help the most. The Philippines and its people deserve a government that understands the weight of every delay, every requirement, and every decision that affects an ordinary Filipino’s life.
