I use to think “influencer” or “content creators” were a joke. I’d see somebody filming in public and think to myself, “Oh, look at this fool. This is so cringe” ….until I became that fool. And I realized that I’m working the hardest I’ve ever worked in my entire life. Between constantly juggling 5 to 10 brand deals at any given moment, trying to grow my coaching business, being there for my students, being there for my family and my kids, trying to maintain somewhat of a healthy lifestyle and working out - the shit is not for the weak. And if you know me in real life and you’re wondering why I haven’t texted you back, it’s because of this. This is why I haven’t texted you back. Because as much time as I spend on my phone, I also want to throw it out the window at the end of the day. I am constantly juggling 30 different things at any given moment, and my brain feels like it’s one spark away from frying. Don’t get me wrong: I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and I’m not complaining. The time flexibility I get with UGC and working for myself is not something I’ll ever be able to give up. I honestly don’t think that I could ever work for anybody else now that I have a taste of what it’s like to work for myself. But it’s certainly not a walk in the park, and it took me a long time to figure out a schedule and system that works for me in my life. It started with: - having theme days - batching my tasks - batching my content - Hiring help and systemizing everything else in my business Including investing in resources that are going to actually give me back my time. We’re talking: - - - - Because if you’re constantly working in your business and not on your business, you don’t have a business. You have a side hobby, and I’m not trying to do that. I’m trying to grow my content empire so that way eventually I can FULLY enjoy the things that aren’t things. Ps. Shameless plug for Poppy here because it’s a tool I invested in 2 years ago when they first launched and it’s THE only platform I still use to this day.
