according to google average salary of a US resident is 69k average teacher salary in US is 74k, so from this video i understand they get paid more than the average American and get 3 months off🤔

i thought they use EI every year. i used to work seasonal and the government paid me on my off seasons. maybe thats just a canadian thing.

They get paid for 180-190 days. They can adjust how they receive the payment for those number of days. Spread it out in 12 checks or 9. So yes some receive payments during their break. But it’s a prorated amount for hours already worked. So no, they don’t get paid for not working.
