Yall saying sheep can't handle copper clearly never given them a copper bolus or understand how the stomachs work for breaking down copper. 🤣🤣🤣 ALL species are susceptible to developing copper toxicity, but sheep are most commonly affected. Copper bolus gelatin capsule filled with copper oxide wire particles (CuO, “COWP”) that settle in the abomasum and slowly release copper locally also reducing worm load. Copper sulfate is what is toxic. So many misconceptions with copper and sheep, people think they cannot have any.

Might be something in cedar that you wouldn't want in drinking water. Maybe it's nothing to worry about, but cedar is resistant to bugs too
