Yesterday the pharmacist wouldn’t hand me my prescription until he went through every vaccine recommended for me and asked me why I refused them. I told him because I said I don’t want them, please hand me my prescriptions. Now it makes sense.

kroger does this! I’m a CPhT retail and hospital med rec in the ED here in columbus ohio. Our CEOs did a walk in the kroger i work at and told us how we needed to be making “more sales” on GLP-1s and Immunizations. That night I applied elsewhere. I only stay at kroger for the free CE and free renewal of my license. Plus the weekly paycheck for 1 8 hour shift a week is like a little prise at the end of my long week.

I am glad I don’t go to Walgreens anymore. They treat you like you are drug seeking when you try to fill any medication, my daughter’s birth control was the final straw - she takes 4 packs consecutively skipping the sugar pills. They refused to let me refill until the 30th day - even if she wasn’t skipping the sugar pills - the pack is a 28 day pack but I can’t refill till day 30 and you feel the need to treat me like a junky for asking about refilling birth control. Bye!!!

I just quit my pharmacy tech job with walgreens on monday. Let me tell you that management does not care about ANYONE, patients or their employees. I was so overworked and was scolded so many times for spending “too long” helping patients…. 😐

They should be pushing tDaP that time of year. We do more work outside in the summer, more chances of puncture injuries, AND statistically, more babies born are in September-November , so getting updated on pertussis in July preps you for new baby season

Im a tech at a cvs and they cut our hours because we don’t meet the quota despite us surpassing our daily goal almost daily. It’s so hectic that I can’t believe were operating like that, were less staff and more work and i notice we make more mistakes because we’re working so fast running around like headless chickens and we will mess up big time if we continue like this. It’s so wrong for pharmacies to only look at the profit margins and try to pass it off by saying theyre caring for the community 🙄

CVS is the same way! I constantly get text asking if I want my flu shot. And every time I pick up a med the computer makes me say yes or no before I pay 🙄

I worked 18 years with them. They cut employees hours for not pushing vaccines and credit cards. They are taking away vacation and paid holidays to put more money in their own pocket. Lots of us were overworked with nothing to show for it. Not even a thank u
