It's still beta maybe they're gonna fix it later because I noticed that her real wings had risen since they made Vodyanitsa use her mermaid form to swim in the water, I don't think it would be difficult for them to make Vesna use her wings fo gliding maybe even with a special animation like her sprint

the only logic i see is glider is for gliding the air so its not exactly flying as it would be with wings (sure u can glide with wings in theory but the point of wings = actual flying and glider = just gliding loses its core point since flying is no longer true flying and gliding is kinda like a parashoot where you lowkey rest cuz the only thing that takes ur energy is controlling the stability)

Gliding require a flat surface just like how “flying” squirrels glides, it isnt possible for her to glide with her wings

I used to think like this until i realized that gliding isn’t flying, it’s literally the act of using a glider so it sorta makes sense (even tho yea its not the best)… plus she actually can actually fly so a win is a win!! [happy]
