Tom’s transformation is truly incredible and tear jerking! Tom was brought in as a stray by a Good Samaritan - he was in such distressing shape, we couldn’t believe our eyes. Just by the look of his front limb, we were in shock. He also had a terrible case of scabies and was unable to even open his eyes. To our surprise, he was still a very affectionate, vocal cat and allowed the medical team to asses and help him with no issues. Tom had a long recovery ahead! Between treating his scabies, receiving weekly medicated baths, and bandage changes for his leg, his sweet attitude never changed. He was always meowing for attention and love, our staff gave him extra TLC! ❤️ Our medical team determined that amputating Tom’s leg was the best route for him to live more comfortably. After many months of recovery, Tom blossomed and he’s now doing AMAZING! He looks like a shiny, new kitty and getting around perfectly. He still stumbles occasionally but he plays it off by acting like he meant to fall and ask for pets instead. 🤣 Tom is the gentlest boy, and still as vocal as ever! He just wants to play and cuddle all day and enjoys being picked up to sit comfortably on your lap. He deserves the BEST home where he will be spoiled and loved endlessly - especially after everything he’s been through in just the three years of his life.
