do you have any tips about transitioning from a WFH day to "home"? i'm trying to see if staying in my office all day helps but the couch is like a magnet some days 🥲 terrible issue to have, I know.

And then layer on parenting and caring for elderly parents. I’m so burned out.

Yes! After 7-5 then plus commute, I have 2-3 hours remaining for me, but subtract 1-2 of those to clean up from the day. Last night I said f it! And doomed scrolled until I fell asleep!!

I wfh and I know I'm blessed to do so but it honestly feels like I work more. My shift is 10-7 and I do housework on my breaks so that my partner and I can cook dinner when he gets home, eat, do dishes, and relax together for an hour or so before we need to go to bed since he gets up at 5am. My mornings before I clock in are spent catching up on sleep (I'm chronically ill) or trying to exercise since I sit at a desk all day. I feel like I'm constantly playing catch up with myself

It is so hard to transition from one space to another. Now I have no clear answers, but I say that Witches will pause before crossing a threshold. During this pause they practice a conscious “drop of baggage”. Whether you consciously drop your shoulders, take a deep breath, recite a mantra… the main thing is to not carry baggage into your downtime spaces. Blessed be ✨
