@origrhk111: RE: Philippine Navy Personnel who once was stationed and resupplied BRP Sierra Madre now being investigated for Illegal Drug Use A 34 Year Old Personnel of the Philippine Navy (PN) who previously served onboard the BRP Sierra Madre and who was also later involved in its Resupply Missions is now reportedly under Investigation for the use of Illegal Drugs. Assignment to the BRP Sierra Madre, which was grounded in the Second Thomas Shoal, is considered one of the most sensitive Military Outposts in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) since it is situated on disputed Territory. The PN has confirmed the Case as true which came out in early May 2026 due to the unexplained Absences of the said Personnel. This Personnel reportedly served on the BRP Madre from September 2025 up to early this Year of 2026. After that, he was assigned to the M/V Lapu-Lapu 2, a Civilian Vessel used to bring in and evacuate out Personnel, and also bring Food, Water and other Supplies to the BRP Madre. If found guilty, the said Personnel will be discharged from Service as the AFP has a strict, "No Drugs" Policy on the Possession and Distribution of Illegal Drugs among its Ranks.
