@darrenfrancisfinance: 8/12: A recent survey showed that 92% of people are opting to forego medical care entirely due to it being too expensive. Most people (96%) in the survey also had some form of insurance. #healthcare #healthinsurance #costoflivingcrisis #breakingnews #medicaldebt
I cut my pinky and can’t bend it anymore but I was too afraid to go to the ER because I was already in a tight living situation

My Wife has been through so many doctors visits, blood draws, CTs, at least 4 different specialists in the last 6 weeks, hospital visits, etc. I have very good insurance by US standards and I am still holding my breath and expecting we may need to file for bankruptcy by the time they even figure out what’s actually wrong with her.

Often times it is literally cheaper to pay out of pocket. It is DISGUSTING the level of scammery going on.

I'm 40. I haven't had a gp since middle school. I'll go to a hospital once I'm at risk of death and only then.

It costs $7000 or more to give birth, even if you have insurance, that's the cost of the copay. If you don't have insurance and do it with a birthing center, it's that cost... Lots of people will have to go into debt just to give birth, let alone take care of children.

I am about to lose my house because they won’t help with endometriosis and consider our surgeries “elective” as if I can continue to live with organ scarring and failure— this is broken. I can’t afford my healthcare now I’ve been out of work for a year. I go on Medicaid now Trump says I have to work. I physically can’t. That’s why I’m on the bad insurance bro. I’m sorry. The care is not the same. It’s so wrong. I paid into this since I was 15. I should be able to get disability. They keep denying me. Even with medical need and doctors advocating for me. Now I’m worried about taxes and my house. I don’t know what I’m gong to do. If you don’t have family you’re screwed

I'm holding on an intestinal surgery because I can't afford it. I'm basically playing the odds that nothing happens until I can get the money.

It's all fine and someone else's problem until you are the one who puts off seeing a doctor and then when you finally do they find cancer. Ask me how I know.

I had to pay $860 just for them to tell me I have three bulging discs in my back and there was nothing they could do for it but send me to physical therapy that didn’t work and cost me even more money.

I pay $1000/month for health insurance. Then $50 copay per visit and a $900 deductible. I have insurance but I can’t afford to go to the doctor
