I noticed that usually the front is wider than the back when drafting darted bodice pattern, also they add 1.5-2 cm to the back piece

Oh my I think that might fit me. It’s hard to know my size now as I’ve lost almost 50 kg. Or 110 lbs in your measurements. It’s a lot to adjust to. Thank you for this tutorial.

When you slash the armpit and rotate it in, how do you readjust the armhole height? Does it go back to the original height you measured for the arm hole?

how would you make a bodice block for someone with a 10inch difference between Bust measurement and waist? I've been told just to make a bodice block for a B cup and then Ful Bust adjustment on the pattern afterwards but it always makes the pattern look weird and I end up just draping out the panels

Thanks for sharing soo (to tears) over the global fashions.. will celebrate the day when most of the women tops are not off shoulder sleeve seam design ... i cant pull those off. but for some reason we all have to be stuck with that buyers decision.. for YEARS now.. I've decided today that's it, I need to make clothes... my only options for a classic long sleeve was white or black. tge rest was off shoulder sleeves or cropped. or awful material.. it shouldn't e tgis hard to buy simple decent clothes nit designed for young folks

uuuugh I tried this entirely from measurements using a pattern drafting book but the math wasn't quite working with their set measurements ... doing the same thing but then drafting the darts AFTER trying on the basic fabric block is so smart. also measuring depth of armhole on yourself vs mathing it. probably much better fit!
