Un regard plus doux pour l’un, une fierté plus visible pour l’autre, et un silence pour toi. Ça ne paraît rien, mais pour un enfant, c’est tout. Parce qu’à cet âge-là, on ne comprend pas la différence, on la subit. Alors tu t’adaptes. Tu souris quand tu veux pleurer, tu fais mieux que les autres, tu cherches à prouver que toi aussi, tu mérites d’être vu. Mais l’amour qu’on doit gagner, n’a jamais la même saveur que celui qu’on reçoit naturellement. Et c’est là que naît le vrai drame : tu grandis avec cette idée que pour être aimé, il faut faire plus, donner plus, être plus. Adulte, tu continues le même schéma. Tu t’épuises à mériter une place, dans le couple, dans la famille, au travail. Tu veux qu’on te remarque, pas par orgueil, mais parce que tu n’as jamais su ce que ça faisait d’être “le préféré”. Le favoritisme parental ne brise pas les liens, il brise la confiance intérieure.
