I’m really needing help to maybe understand my situation because I’m at the edge of my mental health. The father of my child left me back in January after finding out I was pregnant, and after we graduated high school he came back in May. He said he wanted me and a relationship to work and we started dating. 2 weeks later he got cold again, and said he wanted to break up and said we’d never date again. We planned to marry and everything. He still is helping me with our child but I’m so confused and heartbroken. I miss him daily and I can’t find anyone who can give me answers. Leaving once as an avoidant, I understand but not 2x. Everything hurts. I am losing hope. I don’t want to move on and find someone else, I feel better being single or with him but im just sad all of the time.

My last relationship was painful because I was REALLY trying to be intentional about asking for the underlying need - like needing some reassurance or whatever. And that only seemed to bother him more 😅 but he was definitely really emotionally unavailable and was struggling with his own stuff

Stonewalling is manipulation…. The first time I experienced this I realized my mother had done it before so it was familiar. The second time I tried hugging him from behind then a hug while he was in between cleaning then I left after being ignored for 30 maybe mins I cried 😭😭😭
