Honestly that's good enough for me and better than what most people do. Alot of people don't even apologize if they don't feel sorry. Ending up with people who rarely apologize for anything.

You don't need to feel bad or guilty to be genuine. You said it yourself, you WANT to not do the hurtful thing again, you CHOOSE to do it differently. That's valid.

I don’t feel guilt at all and I rarely ever feel remorse but I can feel small amounts of it for people that I like, usually only one favourite at a time, if I have someone like that in my life at the time. There’s a small twinge of pain at the idea that their pain could be my fault but that’s as far as it gets. Its not like I can’t cognitively understand I’m wrong and work on myself for them

I’m glad to see you are doing the work to become a better person and work on your self, most people aspd or not, don’t have the guts to do that.

In a way it’s better because your able to give a thought through logical and reasonable apology without emotions getting in the way, while a lot of people end up feeling so guilt they end up just crying and victimising themselves rather than being able to apologise

What push you in life if the emotions are not very strong?Do you believe your life is rich as the typical people, less or more?If you could choose you would prefer a world full of people with your functioning or this today world? You would like to experience life like “people”? (Sry for bad English)

Nice attitude nicely handled. Can you imagine my bpd/npd wife has never ever apologised to me in entire marriage despite many many occurrences when it would be relavant, I can't understand that

What people don’t realize is that empathy itself is neither good nor bad. Empathetic people can and do show cruelty and do harm. Kindness and doing good doesn’t require feeling empathy or remorse. There are plenty of reasons to do good and be good that have nothing to do with feelings.

It is amazing how you see something like this...
Even if you don't feel anything, you understand that "actions are more important than feelings" sometimes, and it's really nice of you that you care about.
Most of people don't have priorities like this, even if it's more "easy" for them feel bad or sorry, they simply don't. ✨
